Zac Brown low-key founded a summer camp for the special needs

It’s tough not to already love Zac Brown of The Zac Brown Band. The modern-era country music star has millions of fans all around the world after releasing hit after hit after hit that all make you feel a certain way. Such a certain way it made two Palm Beach cops let him free from a drug-bust after being starstruck when the raid happened. But anyways..

Zac goes above and beyond his star status and low-key founded and runs a camp for the special needs in Peachtree, Georgia. The camp actually looks really awesome.

“As a former camp counselor, I know how a positive camp experience can transform a child’s life. My dream is that children of all abilities will have an opportunity to experience the magic of the outdoors.”

Once through with the development stage the camp will serve children from the ages of 7-17 with both typical and special needs such as Asperger syndrome, Tourette syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD and dyslexia. They provide interactive maps to show the progress of the camp’s construction.

“This isn’t a Zac Brown camp, this is a camp that will live on long after I die.”

Pretty sweet.
