Tony Hawk Lands His Famous 900 Again At Age 48

Prep to learn something about not giving up:

Wow. I’m sure this touches a nerve of nostalgia for those who cranked out hours of their teenage years learning the depths of skateboarding via Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. I once spent an entire road trip from Albany, NY to St. Louis, MO playing the demo version of this game. I also never even really learned how to ollie on a skateboard so I don’t even think I can grasp how difficult this must be to do, nonetheless with the bones of a 48 year old. But it clearly ain’t easy,  as the video shows Tony taking some hard falls before pulling through and landing the trick, just as he did 17 years ago at the X games in 1999.

1999 was also the year his son was born who witnessed his Father’s historical stunt which is known to be one of the most difficult in the sport.
