Ashley Tisdale And Vanessa Hudgens Give Us The Duet We Never Got In High School Musical…10 Years Later

High School Musical gave us unrealistic expectations of what high school would be like and it taught us dance moves we never actually used. But most importantly, it gave us the best soundtrack for a sing along with. However, even though there’s been three movies and dozens of songs, there was never a duet with just Gabriella and Sharpay.

Premiere For "Spring Breakers" - After Party

Well, not until now.

Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens teamed up to make a cover of “Ex’s & Oh’s” by Elle King. Tisdale’s husband did the arrangement and she posted the video on YouTube on Tuesday.

The video was part of Tisdale’s “music sessions,” a new segment on her YouTube channel where she invites different guests to sing with her. The comments section was filled with requests for her to have Hudgens appear, so of course they had to give the viewers what they wanted.

The two girls sat criss-cross on the floor in front of colorful tapestries and string lights (aka the cutest backdrop ever). Tisdale’s husband sat beside them to play the guitar.

Overall, this was freaking adorable and their voices actually mix together perfectly. Close your eyes and you can still see Gabriella and Sharpay. It’s unfortunate they couldn’t do this any of the movies, but oh well, this was worth the wait.

The video has already received over 5 million views and people are losing their minds. No one saw this video, but once it was uploaded everyone realized it was exactly what they needed. Our High School Musical fantasies are still coming true.
