At the stroke of midnight, a group of dedicated upstaters finished their beers at The Bradley, Troy’s notorious dive bar, and went out into the streets to experience a monumental occasion. Leading the pack was Vic Christopher, the local business owner and pioneer who has fought for ridesharing in upstate for the past three years.
The time has come for upstate to be on equal playing ground with the rest of the country. Ridesharing is here and now I’m free to go a few too many buttons deep without questioning how I will get home tonight. Here’s how the first ride went:
