“If You Don’t Stop Putting Your Hands On Girls I’m Gonna Come Out There And Fuck Your Ass Up” – Drake Stops Show To Call Out Sexual Assault

From my experience, concerts are fair game to whatever it is you want to do. When there’s a show going on, lights are low, music is high, absolutely no rules apply. it doesn’t matter if you’re on the gritty lawns of SPAC or in a pristine historic theatre…Underage drinking is basically expected, joints are more than less an amenity once the lights go off, and all it takes is a 5 second scan around you to see who is tripping balls…That’s just the lay of the land, and something that makes them so special.

But you know what won’t ever go over well at any venue ever? Sexual harassment. It’s off the table for obvious reasons. But that clearly doesn’t stop people who find themselves in close proximities in an arena filled with bad decisions. I’m sure a majority of girls (or guys) can confess to some sort of unwanted touching at a concert, but that’s just because they didn’t have Drake watching over them.

“If you don’t stop putting your hands on girls,” he said, “I’m gonna come out there and fuck your ass up.”

First off, let’s be real, Drake wasn’t gonna go and fuck anybody up, he was gonna send his 9 linebacker security guards to do it for him, but regardless, it’s the thought that counts. The club in Sydney, Australia erupted with applause and Drake carried on.

Now the video never actually showed the alleged groper doing anything, so is this Drake being a hero, or playing a hero? A child TV star sure knows how to work the news cycle by now with the heat this issue has been getting as of late. I hate to turn that stone, but that’s just the lay of the land.
