Just A Minute: Graduations

Graduation season is now upon us. It’s time to throw on that cap and gown, invite the fam and gloat a little bit to you made it across the stage and certain others did not.

I like the idea of commencement. It’s great on paper. It’s the end of an era. The time where a new chapter of your life begins. Also, at this point those college loans will kick in. Good luck!

I recently went out to a graduation at Oswego. In theory it was a great day. My family packed up a couple cars and watched my youngest sibling graduate. We were so proud. It was all cupcakes and rainbows, except for the fact that I was hung over for a three hour ride there and I’m pretty sure the commencement itself is still going on.

I have a few ideas on how to make it better, here it is in just a minute:
